Pre-Treatment Instructions
- Arrive to your appointment with the treatment area clean and free of make-up, lotions or oils if possible.
- Use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen of at least 30 SPF. We recommend Hydropeptide Tinted SPF
- Let the clinic know of any medication changes throughout treatment.
- Avoid scrubs and active ingredients on the treatment area for 1 week prior to appointment.
- We cannot treat active acne, rosacea, or other inflammatory skin condition. We do not treat clients with open wounds or cold sores in treatment area
- Not to be performed for 6 months after Accutane (or products/medications similar to Accutane).
- We do not treat clients with skin allergies or metal allergies.
Post-Treatment Instructions
- You could experience redness for 1 to 3 days post treatment, in extreme cases up to 7. Makeup is allowed for coverage after initial 24 hours, if so desired – though not recommended.
- You may experience itching, inflammation, and a hot or “sunburnt” like sensation in treatment area, or swelling around the eye area.
- Do not touch your face for a minimum of 4 hours post treatment.
- Not to be preformed within 3 weeks of deep chemical peels, laser treatments or injections.
- Avoid sweaty exercise, sun exposure, and heat (saunas, hot showers) for 72 hours post procedure.
- Skin care post treatment is to be strict based off of clinic’s recommendations. No active ingredients, shaving, waxing or exfoliation for 72 hours post treatment.
- Change pillowcase & wash makeup applicators/brushes day of treatment.
- Not to be performed over active acne, broken skin or inflamed skin.
