What Is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a professional facial technique safely performed using a specialized surgical instrument and disposable No.10 blades designed specifically for clinical aesthetics. Once the skin is properly prepped, the technician holds the skin taught and gently scraped the skin with the blade at a 45 degree angle. This exfoliation will slough off build up of dead skin, rough textured skin, villus hairs (“peach fuzz”), excess oil and dirt.
Dermaplaning is offered at spectrum as it’s own express facial, or as an add on to certain clinical facials. The Express Dermaplaning Facial includes a double cleanse, tone, dermaplane, cold cry-globe lymphatic draining facial massage, a mask chosen by your professional based off of your skin needs, clinically tested serums infused into your skin, followed with moisturizer + SPF!
